 <description>The European policies for social services addressed to vulnerable groups have to be strong, effective and efficient. The European Funds for instance have a small and insufficient coverage for services destined to vulnerable groups – people suffering from chronic diseases (with emphasis on HIV/AIDS as this still is a major issue for Romania), commercial sex workers, drug users, people suffering from extreme poverty, children raised by mono-parental families or by the extended family in the absence of parents etc.
